The weather reports were good, the fresh powder was falling and it looked like we were in for another epic Southern Alps adventure. We wake up to a blue bird Queenstown morning and we knew this was going to be a goody. After a carb loaded brekky we were ready to go and the wicked crew at Harris Mountains Heli-Ski picked us up and the adventure began.
Our senses were humming from the rush of a helicopter flight, soaring deep into the heart of the Southern Alps. We spent the day in our idea of heaven- carving smooth turns through untouched backcountry powder!
It’s fair to say that we returned home with aching legs but memories that we will always remember.
